A setup is more than one cel. The layers are painted separately and stacked over a background so that figures who never shared a sheet of acetate end up sharing a frame, and this one stacks the whole team.
Its owner, who collects television animation of 1986 and 1987 and has had this piece in his gallery since 2014, describes it as about the best group shot you could hope for, and the reason is the lineup: it is the arrangement the opening titles use. Everything a viewer met in the first thirty seconds of an episode, on one plate.
Nothing here is for sale and we hold no price for it. It has never been to auction. It is on this page because its owner put it somewhere the rest of us could see it.
